The Implementation Gap

Africa has no shortage of policies, research, strategies, frameworks and pilot programmes. Yet, implementation remains fragmented, under-resourced, and slow. This implementation gap continues to limit inclusive growth, yielding limited or unsustainable impact, job creation, and the delivery of Agenda 2063.

Solution
The Africa Development Impact Forum (ADIF)
ADIF

The Africa Development Impact Forum (ADIF) is a UNECA-led initiative designed to close this gap by transforming evidence and policy insights into actionable, scalable implementation outcomes. It is a radical departure from the status quo; the forum embeds implementation logic into every step and act is an action engine.

The Aim

The aim is to support policymakers, policy implementers and decision makers in effective policy and strategy implementation by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, peer-learning, and actions toward effective policy implementation to address Africa’s most pressing socio-economic challenges.

The Forum

The Forum seeks to bridge the implementation gap between research knowledge and action with real-world impact by engaging and convening governments, private sector leaders, youth networks, researchers, and development partners to co-create solutions that drive real impact on the ground.
